Singer Bebe Rexha is recovering after being hit in the head with a cell phone while performing in New York Sunday.

According to her Instagram, Rexha says she is “good after suffering a black eye.”

The incident happened while she was on stage at the south street seaport.

Police tell U.S.A. Today a 27-year-old man from New Jersey was arrested and charged with assault.

Fans expressed their anger over what happened on social media.

Rexha has been on her "best f'n night of my life tour" since last month.

The singer-songwriter has a handful of concert dates coming up in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Houston and Orlando.

It's unclear how this injury may affect her tour.
