A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in San Marcos early Wednesday morning. Police said he was struck twice by two separate vehicles, and neither driver stopped to help.

The San Marcos Police Department said 69-year-old Lenard Green Coleman was hit just before 1 a.m. on State Highway 123 near Ebony Street.

Detectives determined he was first hit by a delivery truck in the outbound lanes. The driver, who did not stop to render aid, has been identified but has not been charged yet.

Coleman was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hays County Justice of the Peace Maggie H. Moreno. Coleman’s next of kin has been notified.
