The Bethany Cemetery Association presents a tour of Austin's oldest African-American Cemetery

Tomorrow is the Bethany Cemetery Juneteenth Walking Tour. The event is free, but donations are highly encouraged and will benefit the cemetery and its upkeep. The Bethany Cemetery was established in the late 18-hundreds when burial spaces set aside for African American's in Austin's historic Oakwood Cemetery was no longer available. The event goes from 6 p-m to 8 p-m.
