David Galindo-Duran, 26, is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a shooting at Chicas Bonitas in Austin in November 2022.

“A couple of males walk into this establishment and they’re looking at the victim and the victim’s brother as what they call ‘mean mugging,’ which is where they’re staring them down,” said Deputy U.S. Marshal, Brandon Filla.

Later that night Galindo-Duran and the victim both ended up outside the club.

“You can see on video surveillance there’s some type of verbal disagreement, some type of argument outside,” said Filla. “That’s when David Galindo-Duran walks away, pulls some type of firearm from his waistband, and fires one shot at the victim.”

He fired more shots, hitting that man in the head and leaving him in critical condition. By the time police got there, Galindo-Duran was gone and hadn’t been seen since. U.S. Marshals say he’s a Cuban national who had been living at the Standard apartments at The Domain.

“We’re urging the public and our viewers to take a good look at this individual and see if they know of his whereabouts because we know that most people that stay there are in their early 20s at The Domain and frequent those nearby entertainment areas,” said Filla.

Galindo-Duran has multiple noticeable tattoos that make him stand out in a crowd, covering his full chest and arms. He’s known to drive two Mercedes Benz vehicles – one black and one white with Texas license plates RYW-9381 and RJN-0244.

U.S. Marshals consider Galindo-Duran armed and dangerous.

“He did have a black pistol handgun which had an extended magazine, which we believe to be a drum magazine,” said Filla.

David Galindo-Duran is 5’11 and weighs 180 pounds.
