April 14 Update:

The U.S. Marshals said Percy Prejean, 44, self-surrendered to the Williamson County Jail Thursday afternoon.

Prejean was wanted for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon after a robbery at a Circle K convenience store in Round Rock last May.

The U.S. Marshals said they received a valid tip the following day of the broadcast on Prejean.

Original Story:

Percy Prejean, 44, is wanted for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon after a violent robbery at the Circle K on A.W. Grimes in Round Rock last May.

“He held the cashier at gunpoint and demanded cash and when the worker couldn’t get the cash fast enough, he fired a round off into the ceiling,” said Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.

The cashier was able to identify him as a regular customer at that store. Prejean had relatives at a nearby apartment complex at 2300 Old Settlers Blvd. but had his permanent address at 2000 Idlewilde Run Drive in South Austin.

This incident was far from his first run-in with the law; he’s been arrested more than 12 times.

“The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force encountered and arrested him back in 2013,” said Filla. “He has a lengthy criminal history, he’s fled from authorities before, also always been in some type of possession of a weapon, and he’s got fraudulent use of a credit card.”

Prejean has several easily spotted tattoos on his throat and neck. One side of his neck is tattooed with the name “Barbara,” while the back of his neck has a tattoo of the name “Keisha” with a stamp over it that says “Void.”

He’s also described as having two front gold teeth and a distinctive walk.

“He has a waddle in his walk, some type of limp that really sticks out,” said Filla.

U.S. Marshals believe Prejean is in the area between Round Rock and South Austin. Percy Prejean is 5’9” and weighs 180 pounds.
